Greetings!
Welcome to my Web site! The creation and development of this site is an ongoing process and so it will probably continue to change over time. Feel free to browse around, though, and e-mail me to offer comments or suggestions.
I have many titles and interests. I am currently the Assistant Director for Service-Learning and Internships at The University of Idaho, where I also teach literacy and education courses in the College of Education. I have served as Associate Editor of The Reading Matrix since its launch in 2001. My research interests focus on the intersections of applied linguistics, literacy studies, and service-learning. I have published numerous scholarly articles in the U.S. and abroad on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), second language writing, assessment, curriculum development, program administration, service-learning, and literacy instruction.
